Industry certifications exams award candidates certifications in different professional areas. Each is used for employment purposes.

Pearson VUE Industry Certification Exams

Numerous vendor exams are administered through Pearson Vue.  These exams are given for employment certification and professional licensure. Below are examples of tests offered. For a full list of exams, go to the Pearson Vue website.

Scheduling exams and fees are through Pearson Vue. Exams are offered during normal office hours at the West Campus Test Center only.

Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC)

Using the NOCTI Testing System, MSSC certification exams focus on the necessary skills and knowledge for employment in the manufacturing industry.

MSSC is offered for candidates registered in an MSSC program associated with PHSC. 

Testing is available at the West Campus Test Center by appointment on scheduled dates in conjunction with coursework.

Florida Certification Board (FCB)

Exams are offered for the regulation and certification of health, safety, and welfare careers in Florida.

National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

National Healthcareer Associations (NHA) Certification offers certification exams for the health industry. Students are administered the certification test upon completion of coursework.
