CJBAT-Criminal Justice Basic Ability Test

The CJBAT is used for admission into the Law Enforcement and Corrections programs.


Candidates may take the exam three times a year with no waiting period between attempts

Time Limit

Students are allotted 2 and a half hours on the exam.


Students receive a pass or fail report. Scores in order to pass is higher than a 70.


The cost is $50 for students and $55 for non-students. Cost for retakes are the same.


The CJBAT is offered on all campuses by appointment, although limited at all except the West Campus Test Center.
